SOL Approved Program for Virginia Teachers

Greenbrier Farms is an approved field trip location for Chesapeake City Schools and is a great destination for any teacher who would like to visit a working nursery and farm. We have SOL-oriented programs available for a variety of grade levels and age-appropriate activities for virtually any season. From spring strawberry picking to fall pumpkins and learning about our commercial nursery.

Trips can include hay rides, visits to our peach orchard, the life-cycle of a plant in our hoop and greenhouses (from seed through mature plant) and so much more!
